OpenAI moves toward IPO, Microsoft advances enterprise AI, and Anthropic secures major enterprise partnership
OpenAI has confidentially filed for an initial public offering with the US SEC, assisted by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. This step signals OpenAI’s intention to become a public company, which could reshape its access to capital and influence its role among leading AI developers.
Microsoft continued expanding its enterprise AI footprint: NHS England signed an agreement to roll out Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio to more than half a million clinicians and staff, following a successful pilot. Microsoft also introduced closed-loop learning for agents connected to Power Apps MCP, letting user corrections persist for future agent runs, and made its enterprise intelligence layer, Microsoft IQ, generally available.
Anthropic announced a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology to embed Claude-certified engineers and integrate the Claude foundation model into regulated enterprise systems such as banks, insurers, and government agencies. This positions Anthropic’s models at the core of critical sectors, responding to growing demand for AI integration in highly regulated environments.
